The main AppsFlyer alternatives are Adjust, Branch, Singular and Kochava, which are all full mobile measurement partners (MMPs), plus lighter tools such as Tenjin for small studios and Insert Affiliate for teams that only need to attribute affiliate and creator sales. Which one fits depends on what you need to measure, not on which has the longest feature list.
AppsFlyer is a mobile app attribution platform: it records which ad, partner or link led to an install or an in-app event, and it includes deep linking. At the time of writing its pricing page lists a free Zero plan (12,000 conversions in the first 12 months, described as not suitable for apps with paid activities), a pay-as-you-go Growth plan at $0.07 per conversion, and custom Enterprise pricing. Teams usually start looking elsewhere for one of three reasons: cost per conversion as volume grows, features that sit in higher plans, or a need that is much narrower than a full measurement suite.

Full mobile attribution platforms
These four AppsFlyer competitors do the same core job: they attribute installs and in-app events to ad networks and other marketing sources. If you buy ads on several networks, you need one of these or AppsFlyer itself.
Adjust
What it is: a mobile measurement platform covering attribution, analytics and reporting. Adjust says its measurement covers mobile, web, connected TV, PC and console.
Who it suits: growth teams with paid campaigns on more than one platform, and larger developers who want volume pricing. Adjust describes its Enterprise plan as built for developers with more than 2,500,000 conversions a year.
Pricing note: at the time of writing, Adjust's pricing page describes a free Base plan with up to 1,500 monthly attributions for up to 12 months. Core and Enterprise pricing is on request.
Branch
What it is: Branch calls itself a mobile measurement and deep linking platform. Its deep links route users into the app from email, social, ads, web and SMS, and its measurement product connects paid, organic, email, web and app touchpoints.
Who it suits: teams for whom linking is the starting point, for example apps with heavy email, web-to-app or QR traffic that also want attribution from the same vendor.
Pricing note: Branch lists three plans (Basics, Essentials and Enterprise) but does not publish prices. Basics offers a free trial and is limited to three ad partners. Essentials removes that limit.
Singular
What it is: an MMP that combines attribution with marketing analytics. Singular says it aggregates cost data from more than 1,200 sources and measures across mobile, web, connected TV, PC and console.
Who it suits: teams whose main frustration is stitching ad spend to attributed revenue in spreadsheets, and who want return on ad spend in one place.
Pricing note: at the time of writing, Singular's Free plan covers up to 15,000 paid conversions and includes mobile attribution, deep linking and cost aggregation. The Growth plan is $0.05 per conversion and Enterprise is custom.
Kochava
What it is: Kochava describes itself as omnichannel measurement for advertisers and publishers. It lists mobile apps, mobile web, desktop web, connected TV and out-of-home among the channels it measures.
Who it suits: advertisers whose spend goes beyond mobile, particularly into connected TV, and teams that want a published starting price.
Pricing note: at the time of writing, Kochava's Free App Analytics plan is $0 a month for up to 10,000 conversions a month. Foundation starts at $500 a month and Enterprise starts at $2,000 a month.
Lighter options for a narrower need
Not every team needs the full suite. Two cases stand out: a small studio that wants paid attribution at a predictable price, and an app whose only question is which affiliate or creator drove a purchase.
Tenjin
What it is: a mobile measurement partner that markets itself as all-inclusive: every plan includes all Tenjin products, with no add-ons.
Who it suits: small and mid-sized teams that want attribution and analytics without a sales process. Plans are month to month.
Pricing note: at the time of writing, Tenjin's free plan includes 2,000 conversions a month, with extra conversions at $0.04 each. Paid plans start at $200 a month. Tenjin counts a conversion as an install driven by paid marketing, so organic installs do not count.
Insert Affiliate
What it is: an affiliate and referral platform for iOS and Android apps that sell in-app purchases and subscriptions. This is our own product, so read this section with that in mind.
It does a different job from an MMP. Affiliates and creators share Insert Links (deferred deep links that work whether or not the app is already installed) or short codes. Purchases are verified through RevenueCat, Adapty, Apphud, Iaptic, or directly with the App Store and Google Play. Each verified purchase is credited to the affiliate whose link or code was carried on to it, commission is calculated from your rules, and payouts go through Stripe Connect.
Who it suits: apps where the only thing you want to attribute is affiliate and creator driven in-app purchases. In that case you can run the whole programme without a full attribution suite.
Where it does not fit: Insert Affiliate is not a replacement for ad-network attribution. It will not tell you which ad network drove an install, and it does not aggregate ad spend. If you buy ads, you still need an MMP. It is also built for mobile in-app purchases and subscriptions, so it is the wrong tool for a Shopify store.
The two can run side by side. Insert Affiliate supports AppsFlyer and Branch links as alternatives to Insert Links, so a team that already has an MMP can keep it for paid media and add the affiliate layer on top.
Pricing note: there is a free plan. Paid plan details are on the Insert Affiliate pricing page.
How to choose
- You buy ads on several networks: shortlist the full mobile attribution platforms. Compare them on the networks you use, the plan each feature sits in, and the price at your real conversion volume.
- Your ad spend covers connected TV or web as well as mobile: check which platforms each vendor measures on the plan you can afford.
- You are a small studio with modest paid volume: start with the free tiers. Several vendors here publish one, each with a different limit.
- Your growth comes from affiliates and creators, not ads: an affiliate platform may be all you need for now. Add an MMP when paid campaigns begin.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AppsFlyer alternative?
There is no single best one. Adjust, Branch, Singular and Kochava are the closest like-for-like mobile attribution platforms, and the right pick depends on your channels and volume. Tenjin suits smaller teams, and an affiliate platform suits apps that only need affiliate attribution.
Is there a free AppsFlyer alternative?
Several vendors publish free tiers at the time of writing: Singular (up to 15,000 paid conversions), Kochava (up to 10,000 conversions a month), Tenjin (2,000 conversions a month) and Adjust (up to 1,500 monthly attributions for up to 12 months). Limits and included features differ, so check each pricing page before committing.
What is a mobile measurement partner?
A mobile measurement partner is an independent platform that attributes app installs and in-app events to the marketing source that drove them. Advertisers use one so that every ad network is measured the same way.
Can I track affiliate sales without an MMP?
Yes, if affiliate and creator sales are all you need to attribute. An affiliate platform with its own deep links and purchase verification can credit purchases to affiliates on its own. It does not cover ad-network attribution.
Can I use an affiliate platform alongside AppsFlyer?
Yes. Insert Affiliate supports AppsFlyer and Branch as deep linking options, so the MMP measures paid media while the affiliate platform handles commissions and payouts.
